What I liked about Direct TV PC was having the ability to rate stations and read reviews on them before turning them on. There are thousands of channels available, but not every one is going to be what you are looking for. By reading the reviews ahead of the time you can find the channels that really work for you.

The software comes with a few bonuses (ability to download content, software to burn them), and there are no recurring fees. Your final price is $39.95 which is fairly cheap compare to other packages on the market.

Verdict: A-. I was personally impressed by the selection of movie channels available with this software. The burning software and download access was a bonus. The 9000+ channels available should give you plenty of ammunition to spend time watching TV online!
